A Very kind atmosphere, very helpful
The house is situated in a quiet district of the town
We have dinner and it was fresh cooked
The breakfast is fine and fresh as well
From 22pm to 7am, the house was totally quiet
The landscape is absolutely wonderful. There are many possibilities to hike until lighthouse
It is there perfect to observe the nature such as the birds
Unfortunately, the town is not well maintained, and some parts are really awful

I've only ever travelled through Holyhead en route from Ireland to the UK and back, but I walked around the town a bit with my dog on this trip, and the area around the B&B was nice enough. Beyond that I really can't say as yet, but I'll definitely return.

Not much in the Pier area, very residential.
Not much in the Pier area, very residential. Expect to walk a lot, crossed bridge to City Center for the amenities we were looking for, food & historic sites. 2 days were enough to stay before heading to Dublin on the Ferry.

booked in holyhead purely to meet friends off a cruise ship.
booked in holyhead purely to meet friends off a cruise ship. holyhead itself has little to nothing to offer tourists but as a base to visit other parts of Anglesey its fine. holyhead seems like its been abandoned by the council and needs money spending on it, all the locals we met were lovely and they deserve more.

We visit Holyhead regularly as we travel a lot by ferry.
We visit Holyhead regularly as we travel a lot by ferry. So are usually only there overnight. Busy little town, but normally head for a B & B so do not know town very well, although it looks fine.
I booked this hotel as I was coming in on the latest ferry from Dublin, the ferry was over two hours late docking, and I was very glad that I was still able to check in. A note was left on the front door with instructions of how to check me in. The room was comfortable, clean, bright and had great facilities - coffee, kettle, hairdryer, warm shower. The staff at breakfast were very friendly. Very generous portion for breakfast. I would stay here again.
Kay is the kindest, most amazing, charming lady. We had no idea we were about to stay at a house of someone with such a great energy and lovely spirit. Kay really helped us when we needed to postpone our ferry and let us stay at hers for another night.
Her breakfast buffet is immense and we were nibbling on it throughout the whole day. Something I would appreciate hotels would accommodate! Thank you again for the wonderful experience!
It was a nicely refurbished quaint hotel. Even though the power went out 2 hours after our arrival the entire staff stayed with us until much after the anticipated time to come back on. They finally fixed us a cheese sandwich as it was storming outside & we didn’t want to find an open restaurant in another grid. This property has a wonderful staff. It’s close to the ferry dock for anyone crossing from Holyhead.
We stayed here before taking the ferry to Ireland in the morning. While we were there on an unseasonably warm stretch of days in Wales/England, the accommodations were nice and sufficient (albeit warm overnight!). The host was very personable, kind and welcoming. Breakfast was wonderful. The property is a short walk to the shoreline - beautiful area.
T J was very accommodating . Sat down with us for awhile.
Dinner was very good. This is a hard working family that
from what I understand only purchased the property
a couple of months ago. Would highly recommend if your staying
in Holyhead, going or coming from Dublin. Walkable from the train station
Enjoyed our stay!
The hotel was very close to the train/ferry station. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious the only time during my trip I can say I enjoyed English sausage. The room had the largest bathroom we've seen in traveling around Europe and the only roll in 1.
I am from America and am hiking the Wales Coastal Path. I have stayed at several places during my visit and The Haven is by far the best. The room was clean and fresh. The owners paid attention to details that make the room comfortable. I highly recommend it.
Excellent location, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Breakfast was made early to enable us to meet our ferry cherck-in time. Thank you so much. Highly recommend this hotel and staff.
Perfect stay for anyone getting the ferry to/from Holyhead. It was cheaper than the hotels and has free, secluded parking. Food and drinks are provided for breakfast which was very useful. Checking in and out was very easy

The Stanley Arms is ideally situated for Holyhead Ferry port. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Our rooms were clean and spacious. Fans were provided as it was during a heat wave. There's free parking on-site.
A perfect base for getting into Holyhead and the ferry but could be also a base for walks around the area. Nice breakfast to start the day. Beautiful views across Anglesey. Small but cosy and comfortable.
It was clean and comfortable with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Within walking distance of Holyhead harbour and south stack. A good base for anyone wanting to explore Holy island.
Close walk to city center and transportation systems. Host did a good job helping to find the place, it could have been confusing without her help. Bathroom was good size, shower was good.
The management (Jaye) was exceptionally charming and accommodating. The food was great. As strangers in Wales, Jaye watched out for us, and it is appreciated.
